4 Use this sequence when a sentence contains both a direct and an indirect object pronoun.

7 In an infinitive construction, the double object pronouns come after the conjugated verb and precede the infinitive, just like single object pronouns. © and ® 2011 Vista Higher Learning, Inc.

8 In the passé composé the double object pronouns precede the auxiliary verb, just like single object pronouns. The past participle agrees with the preceding direct object. © and ® 2011 Vista Higher Learning, Inc.

10 In affirmative commands, the verb is followed by the direct object pronoun and then the indirect object pronoun, with hyphens in between. Remember to use moi and toi instead of me and te. In negative commands, everything goes back where it belongs. Ne le leur donne pas. Ne me les montrez pas.
