An Overview of the Conversion Process

2 Why is Travelers Converting Existing Policies to Quantum Auto?
Based on feedback, we’ve created one, easy-to-use auto product that recognizes individual risk differences. Quantum Auto pricing structures are sophisticated and provide more accurate prices.

3 How Will Agents Benefit From the Conversion?
After careful consideration, we have determined that converting our existing business to Quantum Auto will provide significant benefits to you and your customers. One auto product Less time training staff More time to focus on selling Better service More sophisticated pricing model We will be converting policies, meaning no additional work for you! Travelers will manage policy conversion activities by offering support materials for agents

4 How Will I Know When My Customers are Going to be Converted?
Customers will be converted according to their anniversary renewal effective date. Processing will begin 65 days in advance of the renewal

5 How Will My Customers Know What’s Happening?
A customer letter will be sent to each policyholder informing them of the Travelers replacement policy. The letter will advise the policyholder that their current policy is expiring and will be replaced with the new policy. A copy of the letter template will be available on Agent HQ.

6 Quantum Auto® Refresher
Quantum Auto uses a 3-5* year experience period The liability limits are capped at $500,000 in all states Customers may choose to apply for a PLUS Umbrella policy to increase their liability coverage Discounts are still available, but are built into the product Quantum Auto uses many rating variables that result in a customized price based on a customer’s individual situation *varies by state

7 What New Reports Will Be Ordered?
MVR and Insurance Score will be ordered (where permitted). Existing claim history will be transferred to the new Quantum Auto policy.

8 What Happens if an Existing Customer is Not Eligible for Quantum Auto®?
Because of the broad underwriting guidelines in Quantum Auto, we do not expect there will be many policies that are ineligible for conversion. If there are ineligible policies, then a non-renewal notice will be sent.

9 How Will the Company Handle Policies with Different Limits or Deductibles than What is Available in Quantum®? There are several limits and deductibles that were eliminated with the introduction of Quantum Auto. Customers with limits that are not available in Quantum Auto will be moved to the next higher limit or next lower deductible.

10 Electronic Policy View - Overview
What is electronic policy view? Electronic Policy View, also referred to as E.P.V, provides you with the ability to view and print current and archived policy documents. What documents are available? New Business includes: Declaration pages, policy jacket & endorsements, ID cards, privacy notices Policy change and renewal declaration packages All lines of business are available Archived documents – prior terms (back to 6/23/03) Policies that have purged off our billing system (back to 6/23/03) We began archiving documents on 6/23/03. All new business and policy change declaration pages for a policy are available from that date.

11 Accessing Electronic Policy View
From the Agent HQ Home page, search for the customer either by name or by policy number. Then click the Account List button. Access Policy Details either by clicking on the Policy tab, or by clicking the View hyperlink

12 Accessing Electronic Policy View
If more than one term is available for viewing, additional hyperlinks will display – the most recent term displays on top. Click on the hyperlink for the needed term. Policy View is accessible in the left navigation area. Selecting “Policy Documents” provides the terms available for viewing. Selecting Policy Summary returns to the Policy Detail view, which resembles the policy declarations.

13 Choosing Documents To View and Print
The customer’s name, the agency name and policy number appear in the upper corner of the Policy Documents View screen. Click the View hyperlink to open the document. Documents will be displayed in Adobe Acrobat.

14 Who Do We Contact With Questions?
Agencies: Contact your PI Travelers representative with questions about the conversion process. Customers: The conversion letter will direct them to contact their agent or representative with questions.
