The experience of visiting Kibera corresponds to the paradigm of The New Moral Tourism. It is the attitude in which the interpersonal relations between visitors and the inhabitants of the visited place are both a part of and a solution to the problem of inequalities between them, in geographical and social sense (Butcher, 2003: 92). For people who are travelling it is important to „make a difference” and „support communities”.
