21 Prayer O Great God of the Universe, We long to know your peace, to have it settle our minds. We yearn to know our peace, to have it still our thoughts. We look to the day when we may know peace, even in our bones. Thank you for promising that you will not give trouble to us as the world gives but instead give us the peace that passes all understanding. We stand ready to receive your peace in our hearts and lives. Amen.
