The Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) is a unique tool that can educate everyone, from policy makers to local community leaders, and university professors about the day-to-day realities and stress of life in poverty. Join us for this special faculty institute option!
The simulation experience will fulfill the University’s expectation for cultural competence training.
Simulation Goals:
 Raise awareness of the realities of poverty  Build skills  Break down stereotypes  Increase cultural competence  Identify opportunities for advocacy  Improve peer/workplace culture​
