Abolishes democracy
Outlaws all political parties except Fascists
Secret police jail opponents
Govt. censors radio stations and publications
Wanted to control economy by forming alliance between Fascists and industrial owners/land owners
Despite all of this, B.M. never gained total control that had been achieved by Stalin or Hitler
