counselors, for a change in careers,
only after they got a job and were
unhappy with it.

3. Now Why do students make wrong career choices?
Peer pressure
Many students make career choices based on the most picked career among their peers. They don’t consider what they like until it’s too late.

4. Parents’ desires
Parents have always been the guiding stars in their lives. Sometimes students tend to make decisions based on what their parents have foreseen for them.

5. Market boom
Based on the on goings of the economy, some of them choose their career path.

6. Confusion
A very common but the most prevalent issue amongst the young ones nowadays are that they are always confused.

7. Picking a career usually, comes after picking a course.
To find the right career, there needs to be an understanding of what course to take and if capabilities match interests.

8. Career counseling in schools ensures the right kind of help to overcome such thinking and stop students from making mistakes.
