2. Task Description
The HPI Task Team is evaluating DOE Policy Documents for direct or indirect application or reference to the HPI Tools found in the DOE HPI Handbooks (DOE HDBK ).

3. Task Description
This HPI Evaluation tool will provide HPI professionals and others:
a crosswalk to evaluate organizational gaps versus DOE standards and guidance documents applicable to them,
communicate to their executive leadership,
and to ensure DOE Policy documents are embedded/integrated into their organizational structures, either as a best management practice or as a requirement per their site contract.

4. Task Description
Human Factors elements will also be included.

5. Task Deliverable
An Excel Workbook with the extensively linked crosswalk of the DOE Policy documents and HPI Tools to be shared at the EFCOG HPI WG meeting.
Management can also use this as an alignment tool to see where human performance touches other organizational functions, providing HPI Leads valuable direction for engaging sub- groups to ensure DOE requirements are being addressed.

6. Qualitative Saving
This document will provide HPI professionals and their organization with a tool to better ensure that:
Human performance and human factors elements required per DOE standards and guides are integrated into processes and implemented at their respective sites,
Better awareness of where requirements and HPI intersect,
A self-assessment tool to identify gaps for the HPI professional to address.

HPI Crosswalk with DOE documents
Searched LANL requirements/deliverable list in Prime Contract list and noted which items I could not find.
Indicated which of the new LANL Management Systems the DOE Document is assigned to.
Included a list of the Institutional, Functional, and Local documents that cited DOE document title.
Reviewed the HPI Crosswalk Addendum and I did two things in the document:
Searched LANL requirements/deliverable list and noted which items I could not find.   I was unable to find DOE-STD , DOE-STD , or DOE-STD
I did key word searches in the LANL Institutional Policy collection and noted which documents included those phrases.
