MyPSC was released on January 2, 2010 in accordance with GaPSC’s initiative to go paperless. Eliminated the need to print and mail certificates/correspondence to educators. It was designed to automate the certification process for educators by providing: Secure login account Educators create and maintain their account Accessible from the PSC website

Who should have a MyPSC Account?
Currently certified / licensed educators Anyone who has applied for a certificate Anyone who has to take a GACE assessments

Critical piece of information PSC Account Number = Certificate ID
Your six-digit certification number is your GaPSC Account Number. This number is printed on your certificate and on correspondence from GaPSC.

As part of the account creation process, it is critical you provide a valid address. Since correspondence will be via , you will: need to use a reliable address—one that you check often. enter a second address during the registration process for a backup. If your address changes, update your MyPSC Account with the new address.

Sumter County Schools contributions to your
TRS account = 19.06% of gross earnings. Employee contributions = 6% of gross earnings

After you receive your first paycheck,
login to TRS to set up your contact information and beneficiaries. You will be able to monitor your account balances.
