Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and area under the curve (AUC) of model B: the total score of ‘the presence of six optical coherence tomography (OCT) characteristics’ plus ‘hyper-reflective dots’. The optimal cut-off value (Youden index) was achieved if subretinal/intraretinal hyper-reflective dots plus two other OCT parameters were present when only OCT images were considered (AUC, 0.699; specificity, 0.59; sensitivity, 0.80). (Note: each OCT characteristic: 1 point if present; otherwise, 0 point.)‏
