Code Status Order Change
The Partial Code is now retired and replaced by three distinct orders. Caregivers will see the following orders: Full Code (HOI postop order sets default to full code except Geriatric Fracture Postop) Full Code - To Be Determined (TBD) Do not Attempt Resuscitation (DNR)

Isolation Orders The new isolation order allows clinicians to select multiple isolation types. When a nurse documents isolation screening questions, the order is triggered for the nurse to place Any new isolation order updates the existing isolation order so that only one isolation order is active at a time

Discharge Medication Reconciliation
Home medications and inpatient medications are now displayed side-by-side to facilitate comparisons and decision making Action buttons have been updated with new icons

Manage Orders Sidebar in Medication Reconciliation
Clinicians can use the Manage Orders sidebar to queue up and review reconciliation actions, as well as place new orders and Order Sets. The sidebar lets clinicians take action, review all reconciliation decisions, and sign or sign and hold, all from one screen, making it easier to see all of the relevant medications in one place and finish up fast.

Pre-Op Antimocrobial Prophylaxis Order Sets
Using evidence-based guidelines, Pre-op order sets will be updated to adhere to system standards for specific procedures and organisms Example:

Order Context for Pre-Op Orders
When a surgeon or proceduralist signs preop orders, whether the case is scheduled or not, the Review Context window appears. The surgeon selects the case and the context is assigned If no context is shown then select “create new context”

Fast Discharge for Total Joints (ERP)
Surgeon must indicate if patient is on Fast Discharge Pathway (ERP) when the surgical case is ordered. Surgery Schedulers will mark if patient is on a fast discharge pathway A banner will appear in the patients chart, defining that they are on the Fast Discharge pathway
