3
To develop a Bluetooth based home automation system with Arduino-UNO board and android application Remote operation is achieved by any smart phone with Android OS. INTRODUCTION
4
If we control the home appliance through smart phone then It can be helpful for handicapped or disabled people and save the energy power. PROBLEM STATEMENT
5
BLOCK DIAGRAM
6
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
7
WHY ARDUINO UNO? Operating Voltage =5V Input voltage= 6-20V Digital I/O pins =14(of which 6 provides PWM Output) Analog Input pins= 6 DC current per I/O pin = 20mA Flash Memory = 32KB (ATmega32P) Clock speed= 16MHz
8
WHY BLUETOOTH MODULE? 3.3 to 5V I/O. UART interface with programmable baud rate. Slave default baud rate: 9600, Data bits: 8, Stop bit:1 parity: No parity. Auto-connect to the last device on power as default. Permit pairing device to connect as default. Auto-pairing PINCODE:''1234'' as default.
9
METHODOLOGY t BT CONTROL APP ARDUINO RELAY OUTPUT BT HC-05
10
APPLICATIONS Using this project we can turn ON/OFF appliances remotely (using the phone) Home, industries, Hospital etc
11
LIMITATION Bluetooth range less(10m) Not secure Less accuracy It is not used for multipurpose only for particular work
12
FUTURE SCOPE This setup can further be developed into IOT project by adding some sensor(PIR, Temperature), Ethernet Shield or Wi-Fi module. It can be controlled from anywhere around the world having feedback from the devices to further improve the energy savings.
13
CONCLUSION This project reduces human efforts, helpful for handicapped or disabled people and save the energy power.
