3 Points defined in Constitution
Article 4 – Membership Section 2. Active members are defined as students who attain at least 50% of the points for SCA related service; students solely serving as homeroom representative do not qualify as active members of the SCA Article 5 – Governing Body The Student Council Association President – a senior/junior who has earned a Hylton SCA letter with at least one year of high school experience on the SCA Executive Board in concurrence with the year of election.

By Laws Article VIII – Point System Section 1. Points shall be distributed as follows: All SCA members shall receive an assigned number of points for participation in SCA and class activities All SCA officers will receive negative point values for unexcused absences from required events. Points will go towards paying for SCA and state convention or summer camp No points will be transferred from year to year SCA members who attain 75% of the points for the year will be awarded an SCA Letter

5 Points used for State Convention discount
SCA State Convention March Total cost of the trip is $ including registration, transportation, and hotel costs. Registration includes dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. You will need to bring additional money if you would like to purchase snacks or items from the hotel gift store, as well as lunch on Sunday which we will stop for on the bus ride home. _____________________________, due to your participation in SCA events this year, your cost will be: _____ $300 (less than 25% participation) _____ $225 (25%-49%) _____ $150 (50%-69%) _____ $75 (70%-85%) _____ $0 (above 85%)
