2 The arrival On February in the year 1815 the ship called the Pharaoh arrived into Marseilles but without the captain Lecrec, he had died near Civitavecchia. Dantes is now the captain of the Pharaoh.

3 Father and Son Edmond went to visit his father, he found that his father didn’t have money because he had given it to his neighbour, Caderrousse. Carderrousse and Danglars wrote a letter to Villefort about Dantes of helping Napoleon.

4 Mercedes and the wedding
Dantes was going to marry Mercedes when two guards arrested him and took him to the court.

5 The Judge In the court Dantes talked with the judge Villefort, but when the judge saw the letter he noticed the name of his father and he moved Edmond Dantes to the prison “Chateau d’If” . He was in a small cell.

6 Faria In the prison he met Faria, it was another prisoner, they both had an idea, they wanted to break out. But Faria was very sick, he had a red liquid he used when the illness was at it worst point.

7 When Faria died and The Escape
Faria talked with Edmond about the Spada’s treasure. Faria died of an ilness and Dantes escaped in Faria’s bag and the guards threw Edmond to the sea.

8 The Young Amelia and the Treasure
When Dantes was about to die, the Young Amelia, a ship, saved him. They sailed into the island of Monte Cristo. There he faked an injury to the crew so that they leave him alone. There he found the treasure and the ship came again to look for him.

9 Genoa and Marseilles In Genoa Dantes bought a new ship, and with that ship he returned to the island of Monte Cristo to take the rest of the treasure. In Marseilles Dantes went to his father house when he was about to die. Edmond Dantes met Mercedes and they lived happily ever after.
