2 Phase2 Schedule (tentative)
Month / Year Activity March/ 2017 JICA will announce FY2017 Grassroots Program Application formats will become clear. April Preparation of application materials May Submission of application materials June JICA will screen the applications. (Competition rate = 2.0 or so) July Screening results will be open. HEAA and JICA make a detailed project plan. August Continued. September October November December HEAA , JICA, Panchevo City, FCUB and more ? sign a memorandum January/ 2018 Phase 2 starts.

3 Outline of the Grassroots Project
Purpose: Utilizing the knowledge of local government and technologies of private companies, the project contribute to the problem solving in developing countries and also regional development of Japan. Project Duration: 3 years Budget: 60 million yen for 3 years (including 8% tax) Expense items: Travel between Serbia and Japan, Activities in Serbia and Japan, Staff stipends, etc.
