WHAT IS COASTLINE PROMISE?
Financial and academic support in the first year for recent high school graduates from service area high schools (Newport-Mesa, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove districts)

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
Graduates from Newport-Mesa, Huntington Beach, or Garden Grove districts during the most recent school year who: Complete the Coastline Promise Application; Complete the Coastline Community College online application for Fall 2019; Complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act to apply for Financial Aid; Complete online orientation; and Develop a Student Education Plan.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM OFFER?
Covers all first year fall and spring semester unit fees, college service and health services fees; Textbook vouchers up to $1,000 for the first year; Priority Registration; Free Tutoring; and Dedicated Counseling, Academic Success Coaches, and Career Services

WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS?
Enroll in a minimum of 9 units per semester; Enroll in appropriate English and math courses; Enroll in Counseling C105; Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA; Complete 20 hours of community service; Adhere to Coastline Policies; Participate in Promise Program activities; Meet once a quarter with a counselor; and Meet twice a semester with a success coach.
