Reading Trophies: Research based instruction in phonemic

Spelling Kyrene School District has adopted the Trophies spelling program to go along with the reading program. This focuses on word families and story words. Each week: Each Monday, students will be given a Spelling Preview where they are given word family words. We will correct it together .They will take home this list of words in their home binder. Challenge words will be given to students who get 0 or 1 wrong on the preview. Spelling homework: practice the words using Spelling City at or by another method of your choice. Each Friday there will be a Spelling Test!
