I. God Is Calling Exo Israel camped in front of the mountain. 3 Moses went up to God, & the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob & tell the sons of Israel...”

Then He asked them to do something great!
“You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, & how I carried you on eagles’ wings & brought you to myself.” - Exodus 19:4 Then He asked them to do something great!

“Now if you obey me fully & keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Altho’ the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests & a holy nation...“ Exodus 19:5-6 Make a COMMITMENT!

They did! Exo. 19:8 - All the people answered together & said, "All that the LORD has spoken we will do!" & Moses bro’t back the words of the people to the LORD.

II. God Is Still Calling (He called you!)
We “are a CHOSEN race, a royal PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, a PEOPLE for God’s own possession; so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” - I Peter 2:9

Paul reminds us of what He did –
Jesus, “gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, & purify unto Himself a PECULIAR PEOPLE, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:14

Revelation 1:6 Jesus “has made us to be a KINGDOM & PRIESTS to serve His God & Father — to Him be glory & power for ever & ever! Amen.”

Recommit to Christ. Right now!

“It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, 27 & whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave…” Matt. 20:26-28 28 “…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

III. Today, We Are Calling

I Timothy 3:8-13 Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain, 9 but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach.

Women (wives) must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Deacons must be husbands of only one wife, & good managers of their children & their own households. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing & great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
