9 7 God rested. Sunday is the Christian day of rest.
Allah established himself on the throne, to oversee all of creation. Friday is the day when Muslims gather together for worship during the noon prayer time. Friday is not a day of rest. After prayer is finished people go back to normal daily routines and work. The Sabbath is the Jewish day of rest – from sunset on Friday until the appearance of three stars in the sky on Saturday night. 9
