We need to be timely with our good deeds and acts of service to others
The Lord’s steward provides for others “in due season” (Luke 12:42-43)
We are to maintain good works to meet “urgent needs” (Titus 3:14)
“As we have opportunity” (Gal. 6:10)
When we have the means to help! (Proverbs 3:27-28)

5. Improving our timing We need to be timely with our words
To say what is needed (Ephesians 4:29 Proverbs 15:23)
To offer appropriate rebuke and correction (Proverbs 9:8; :10; 28:23; :4-5; 25:11-13)

We need apply timely discipline… -- in the home (Prov. 13:24) in society (Eccl. 8:11) in the church (1 Cor. 5:1-5; Tit. 3:10)
