8. CFUW is a member of the Education Committee of the Canadian Commission on UNESCO and has consultative status with UN ECOSOC sending 20 delegates to the Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) in New York. COME JOIN US!

CFUW is a member of two international organizations of women: Graduate Women International (GWI) and International Alliance of Women (IAW) CFUW was formed to join the American and British University Women’s Associations in creating IFUW/GWI in 1919, CFUW is the largest of its 61 member countries CFUW recently became a member of the International Alliance of Women (IAW) YOU AS A CFUW MEMBER can attend their Triennials/Conferences and be a voice to effect change world-wide.
