The Eleanor J. Johnson Youth Center’s goal and mission is to ensure and provide positive guidance for At-Risk Youth living in Public Housing. Our focus is on daily healthy socialization, educational and recreational Programs. This dinner brings together youth from Eleanor Johnson Youth Center, Emerald Coast Boys and Girls Club with some of the top corporate, business and community leaders to recognize the YOUTH and their accomplishments. All Sports Association will also honor community leaders who are committed to the ideals of service and character. Come!! Sponsor a table. The 2013 All Sports Association Steak Dinner will incorporate an evening of good food, great entertainment and interaction with youth from Eleanor J. Johnson Youth Center, Boys and Girls Club and Ellie’s Youth Center at each table. As adults enjoy a juicy, mouth-watering hamburger, the youth will be treated to a special steak dinner. Each table will consist of three (3) adults and five (5) kids so event attendees learn about the kids in a unique setting. And, the event will include a personal message from Keynote Speaker, Thom Gossom.
The All Sports Association Steak Dinner celebrates the scholastic and service achievements of several outstanding Youths of the Year from both the Eleanor Johnson Youth Center and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Coast Clubhouses. Join the All Sports volunteer members in spotlighting these special young members of our community.

4. All Sports Association 2013 Steak Dinner
Thom Gossom Jr., Auburn's first black athlete to graduate the University will spread a message of literacy awareness. In addition to his historic run at Auburn, Gossom is an actor and author of “Walk-On: My Reluctant Journey To Integration” and a communications professional. He was a cast member of “In The Heat Of The Night” and “Boston Legal.” Gossom also appeared in the 2003 sequel to Jeepers Creepers and Fight Club, as well as guest roles in CSI and a recent guest star as Judge Shepard, in the new CBS drama Reckless. He is a director on Auburn’s Foundation Board and serves as the University’s Ambassador.
