They believe these measures will help curb the rise of gun violence

7 Rules of debate Each group will have five minutes to give an opening statement that should include statistics, quotes from sources, and other facts based on research You are strongly encouraged to use visual presentations, such as posters charts and graphs to support your argument After the opening statement each group may ask two questions of the opposing side. (Try to anticipate questions and your responses from the opposing side. You can do this by exploring both sides of the issue Groups will take turns asking questions (One minute to ask a question, two minutes to answer)
