4. Welcome to the Ecocity World Summit 2019!
We are glad you are on board to help promote Ecocity 2019.
The Ecocity World Summit is the longest-standing international conference that addresses building cities in balance with nature. This is the 13th biennial event which will be held in Vancouver, Canada.
This package will provide you with information and resources to support you in your Ambassadorship. You will receive periodic s letting you know when updates are made to the materials.
If there is anything that we could do to help you in your role, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

5. Objectives:
To increase interest in and awareness of the Ecocity World Summit 2019
To increase engagement of summit participants prior to the conference
To increase the number of summit attendees
To promote sustainability and the values of an ecologically health city

6. Ambassador’s Role: Promote the Ecocity World Summit 2019
Communicate with their peers through social media, , newsletters, word-of-mouth, etc.
Use their own blogs and/or write guest blogs or on the Ecocity World Summit website
Identify opportunities/suggestions about additional ways to promote the conference
Support promotion and participation of any pre-summit social media events

7. Incentives: Recognition at the Welcome Reception (all ambassadors)
Invitation to an exclusive networking event
Recognition on the Ecocity World Summit 2019 program and website (meet the ambassadors page)
Tiered prizes based on activity: (the top 5 active ambassadors on the leaderboard will have a chance to win via random draw)
1st prize: Free registration & Summit Dinner
2nd prize: Free registration
3rd prize: Free ticket to the Summit Dinner

8. Criteria/ Expectations:
1-2 social media posts each week (Facebook, Twitter and/ or LinkedIn). Summit Manager will provide content
2-4 social media posts per week in October Summit Manager will provide content

Ecocity 2019 addresses the way humanity builds its home — its cities, towns and villages. The aim is to unite people through a new way of living on the planet that provides the best possible cities while enhancing, not destroying, the biosphere.
