3. The beginning of the Sangha
When the Buddha had achieved enlightenment he went to find his 5 fellow ascetics who had abandoned him
At first they wanted to ignore him because they thought he was greedy and had abandoned the quest for enlightenment but were so surprised by how amazing he looked that they forgot and spoke to him.

Buddha taught the 5 monks about what he had discovered (the Dharma)
They all asked to join the Buddha and soon all became enlightened ones (arahants)
Others joined the Buddha and eventually the Buddha sent them out to spread the teachings themselves and a community was born
