Justification 3.3 Specification of the reference fuel The appropriate reference fuels as specified in Annex B.5.2. shall be used for conducting test type I. ⇒Table 6-1 is deleted. Add a table B.2.-* Table B.2.-* specifies the reference fuel specifications for the respective performance requirements in paragraph *.*. The limit value of each CP and the reference fuel should be indicated in one table. ⇒Table 6-1, which was deleted in EPPR-17-08(EPPR-11-15e Rev.3) is to be reproduced here. TBD in B.5.2.

NO EPPR-17-08(EPPR-11-15e Rev.3) Japan proposal Justification Hydrocarbons(HC) dHC =631・103mg/m3 for petrol (E5) C1H1.89O0.016); E0 and E10, which are the reference fuel in Japan, are to be added. =619・103mg/m3 for petrol (E0) C1H1.85); =631・103mg/m3 for petrol (E5) C1H1.89O0.016); =646・103mg/m3 for petrol (E10) C1H1.93O0.033); The reference fuel in Japan is to be indicated. Dilution factor X of E10 is 13.4 so that the table is corrected as below. Fuel X Petrol(E0~E10) 13.4 Diesel(B5) 13.5
