Cube Generator Update Todd Bradley January 5, 2012
2
Update Since June, 2011 Meeting
Version for PDS is now able to accept both net cdf data files and pds .dat data files Completed cube generator chapter for users guide Online PDS version of cube generator is awaiting geometer

Cube Generator Chapter
A useful list in chapter that defines all of the geometrical variables produced by cube generator Since Fall, 2011 I see a need to clarify a few of the geometrical quantities Units of distance Coordinate systems
4
Example of limb drift during Titan observation
Integration time = 240 seconds Use “rayheight” from cube generator to show drift of field of view. Cube generator returns datastruct2_initial, datastruct2, datastruct2_final, which is the geometry at the initial, middle and final times of an integration period, respectively.

Beginning of integration
Rayheight S/C Line of sight (spatial pixel 31) Rayheight S/C Line of sight (spatial pixel 31)
6
End of integration (240 seconds)

Summary No new updates to geometrical variables or returned data values Open to suggestions and requests for additional variables and/or definitions
