2. About the friends and family test
The friends and family test was introduced by the NHS to help service providers and commissioners obtain greater knowledge of patients needs. It helps them understand whether they are happy with the services and care provided, and identifies areas where improvements can be made.
It is 100% anonymous so patients can rest assured that their comments (positive or negative) will be processed confidentially.
