Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. 3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. 4. John 17:20-26 Jesus Prays for the Church!

5. Regarding the grace gifts Jesus desires for each of us:

6. In vs. 1-5, He emphasizes salvation and the gift of eternal life, vs
In vs. 1-5, He emphasizes salvation and the gift of eternal life, vs. 2, “I give eternal life.”

7. In vs. 6-19, He emphasizes the disciples’ protection so that they may have Experiential Sanctification by means of God’s Word resident within their souls: “I have given them Your Word”, vs. 14.

8. In vs. 20-26, He emphasizes our unity and glorification, “I have given them glory.”

9. These gifts take care of the believer’s past, present, and future.

10. The assurances of our Eternal Security:

11. Believers are the Father’s gift to the Son, vs
Believers are the Father’s gift to the Son, vs. 2, and God will not take back His love gifts.

22. When we do we will convince the world of the truth and excellence of our belief, and find more fellowship with God and His saints.

23. There is a vast difference between unity (oneness of heart and spirit) and uniformity (everybody being exactly alike).

24. Christ never prayed that all Christians would belong to one world church, or dress alike and talk alike, etc.

25. It is possible for Christians to differ on minor matters and still love one another in Christ.

26. 2. Glorification: In the Plan of God, the believer has already been glorified, Rom 8:30.

27. Rom 8:30, “And these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified (in eternity past).”

28. We have been glorified from eternity past due to God the Father’s omniscience of our positive volition towards the gospel message in time. (Eternal Security)

29. The believer has Positional, Experiential and Ultimate Glorification.

30. U – Glorification: Col 3:4, “When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”

31. Rom 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

32. In John 17:22, the Subjunctive Mood of EIMI means there is a potential for this type of G., which speaks to experiential glorification and unity.

33. It is another way of saying, “I have given them Your Word” (i. e
