Overview For your next presentation, you will create and present a short report on a topic dealing with music The presentation should include a powerpoint and will be around 5 minutes long. Your Powerpoint should include a title slide, outline, conclusion, and relevant music clips

Your presentation should be focus on a topic related to music. Here are some potential ideas: -the history of a music genre (i.e. rap, jazz, classical music, etc.) -a biography of a musician or musical group -an overview of musical instruments from a particular country others?

TIPS Make your presentation INTERACTIVE Ask us questions Insert personal stories Insert humor Design a short activity for the class Quiz the class Call on people Use a volunteer at the board/screen/for a demonstration Focus on SIGNPOSTING LANGUAGE (especially when transitioning between slides/topics) EXPLAIN/ NARRATE your visuals/videos (use YouTube and other software to show us musical clips)
