A clear understanding how people who sit outside the high school can serve the constituencies within it
That the non-high school supporting segment understands the rules of conduct when invited into the high school
Clearly articulating how external providers can add value to everything that a school is trying to accomplish

4. There are points of pain
Parents are not reasonable in their expectations and requests
Students are not always sensible about the paths that are available to them
Faculty can, unwittingly, tell their students things about college that are either factually inaccurate or tone-deaf in the messaging
Counselors usually spend less time on the college admissions piece than they do on almost any other part of the job
Outside vendors pursuit of the profit motive leads to poor behavior
