Language Structure Nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs Simile, metaphor, personification, pathetic fallacy Declarative, exclamatory, imperative, interrogative Short sentences, multi-clause sentences Type of poem: narrative, ballad, lyric and then stanza style: quatrain, tetrain Rhyme – free verse, internal rhyme, rhyming couplets, Repetition Contrast - juxtaposition Step 4: Main body WHAT? What have we learnt about the geography teacher? HOW? How have we learnt this? Evidence – quotation (x3 ideal short quotations) Techniques used – both language and structure: WHY?
