Description of Credential
Learners who are “aware” have knowledge of themselves, available postsecondary opportunities, and the information necessary to understand how college operates as a system and a culture.
Learners who are “eligible” are able to earn college-level placement scores on the ACT or COMPASS assessment.
Learners who are “prepared” possess the skills and maturity of a college student. This includes soft skills (attendance, time management, study skills), as well as patterns of intellectual behavior and use of cognitive strategies.
Criteria Necessary to Earn Credential
To demonstrate awareness a learner must”
