Sacrifices are two-fold – Hebrews 5:1 1. To satisfy God’s wrath over sin Propitiation and Atonement 2. To demonstrate our love for God Gifts and offerings
Heb 5:1 ¶ For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, how much more when he brings it with evil intent! Proverbs 21:27

Jesus was the END of propitiation sacrifices But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, Hebrews 10:12
Jesus did not end Sacrifice, He ended Sacrifices for sins

Jesus was the BEGINNING of true sacrifices 1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Heb 13:10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come. 15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. 16 And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. 17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.

Ro 12:1 ¶ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

What sacrifices do you make to God? Are you worshipping Him with your heart? Are you obeying Him with your life? Do you honor Him with your brethren? Are you giving Him gifts in your life?
