1. BIDMAS – 4 – Disarm the Bomb – Worksheet
This game involves students finding the 8 characters to disarm their team’s bomb. These characters
can be found in the teams’ (yellow/blue) worksheet. If the answer is true, that character is part of the bomb’s code. The blue team’s worksheet is more difficult than the yellow team’s.
Click/Touch ‘Arm’ to start each timer. Then, a chosen student/the teacher can input the characters
– in any order – and then click/touch ‘Disarm’. If this is not done in time, the bomb will explode.
The correct code is in the ‘notes’ and on the answer slides.
You can choose to use the normal 20 minute bomb – or a 10 minute bomb
for a frantic game that requires excellent teamwork! You may want to delay arming the bombs.
Delete the bomb-slides you don’t want to use.
