Centralized government Built impressive roads compared to the Roman Empire Expanded Great Wall and built canals- (Sui Dynasty Grand Canal) Filled government jobs with civil service exams Conquered many different groups of people-Encouraged Assimilation Invented paper and Collar Harness for horses.
