7. Pilot Shortage and Retention
Projections show that the industry will need an additional 7,300 pilots by 2025.
Estimated that Canada will face a shortage of nearly 3,000 pilots by 2025.
Acute pilot shortages are already occurring in flight instruction and services to remote areas of Canada (medevac, cargo, charter).
