Lantech EN50155 Layer 3 switches router series support Routing protocol & IEC applications. TCN series includes 10/100TX , Gigabit & 10G Switch portfolio. IEC is a standardized communication protocol for train- consistent network applications, that stipulates three specific elements - TTDP, R-NAT and VRRP, be implemented.

Act as a DHCP/BOOTP Client, get IP addresses from remote DHCP/BOOTP Server
The response has PXE option fields, ex: boot server and boot file
Download firmware from Boot server
Upgrade to local storage if the version is latest revision
For end-devices
Act as a DHCP/BOOTP Client, get IP address from remote DHCP/BOOTP Server
Our switch acts as a DHCP server and provides Port-based IP assignment.
In response frame, our switch fills the boot server and boot file information into PXE options
