FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ Burner Flame Control Technology
FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ Burner Flame Control Technology *Fuel Cost Savings Up to 20%+ US Electric; Plano, Texas USA Copyright 2010 – 2015 all rights reserved
2
Prime Value Proposition
Would you spend $200 to save up to 20% or more on your heating fuel bill every day for the lifetime of your furnace? What was your total gas bill for heating last year?
3
PAYBACK STEP #1: What is Your Heating Cost?
- Look at your July fuel bill to determine what your hot water and cooking cost is. (There would be no space-heating cost in a July bill.) Look at your bill for a Heating Month (e.g., January). It is for hot water and cooking and also space-heating. Subtract the July bill from the January bill and you will have the monthly cost of space-heating. (example $2,000 for the entire heating season)
4
PAYBACK STEP #2: What is 20% of your heating cost from the previous page? (example 20% = $400) STEP #3: The FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ device costs $200; therefore, in this example, the payback is one half a heating season!
5
FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ has a
ROI Your ROI (Return On Investment)=~2,000% if your furnace lasts 10 years- ROI = 3,000% if your furnace lasts 15 years 6,000% if your furnace lasts 20 years Some furnaces have 20 year guarantees. FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ has a Lifetime Guarantee* *excludes lightning strikes, fire, electrical system failures and water damage
6
GREEN Value Proposition
You can save thousands of pounds of carbon and CO2 every year for the life of your furnace (burner device). Reduce your carbon “footprint” as much as if you had purchased a new high efficiency furnace! (at MUCH less cost)
7
FurnaceFlameCONTROL Installs in roof top (gas heater) equipment And:
Installs in any fuel-fired furnace Simple installation…
8
Installs In Any Fuel Fired Furnace:
-Natural Gas -Oil -Propane -Kerosene -Butane -Diesel -Coal Oil

How Does FurnaceFlameCONTROL™
Save Fuel? When your furnace first turns on, it is very efficient because all the heat from the burner flame heats up the heat exchanger* (*also called the clamshell or shroud or jacket), since almost no heat goes up the chimney at first to be lost. As the burner flame stays on, the hot air going into your home (the supply air) gets hotter and hotter; it can get up to 140+ degrees F = hot enough to scald skin. The longer the furnace burner stays on, the more heat is lost up the chimney…. until a LOT of heat is going up the chimney as the burner continues to literally overrun…
10
How Does FurnaceFlameCONTROL™
Save Fuel? 2 FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ keeps the furnace operating at the “sweet spot”* in the heating cycle where the (supply) air going into the home is hot enough to heat well, but not so hot that there is too much waste heat going up the chimney or lost by radiation in the hot air vent ducting due to overrunning of the burner flame. *This sweet spot temperature, where the furnace heat exchanger / clamshell / jacket is hot enough to heat nicely but not so hot that there is too much waste heat going up the chimney (vent / flue).
11
How Does FurnaceFlameCONTROL™
Save Fuel? 3 FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ measures the supply air temperature and shuts the burner flame off when the hot vent air temperature gets up to a maximum efficient temperature (adjustable for your home configuration) = the air blower stays on and the hot air from the still-hot heat exchanger continues to heat the air for 2 to 3+ minutes with no flame and no fuel being used = heating the home with no fuel used by using residual heat from the heat exchanger.
12
-The Furnace Flame Burns Inside a “Heat Exchanger” #11
-The Furnace Flame Burns Inside a “Heat Exchanger” #11 where the Flame Heats the Metal. -The Flame Does Not Directly Heat the Inside Air. -The (Hot) Heat Exchanger Heats the Inside Air that Blows Over It (#10) and Into the House As Heated Supply Air (#48). #10 - Unheated house air #11 - Heat Exchanger #15 - Chimney flue vent for waste heat #17 - Burner flame inlet #47 - Cross section of heat exchanger #48 - Heated supply air to the house 48
13
How Does FurnaceFlameCONTROL™
Save Fuel? 4 When the hot supply air starts to cool down, the burner flame turns back on to heat the supply air back up to maximum efficient temperature; then the FurnaceCONTROL turns the furnace burner off again, preventing overrun. This cycle is repeated until the room thermostat determines that its setting has been satisfied and turns the furnace off and that turns the burner flame off; after the heat exchanger cools down, the blower also turns off.
14
Doesn't my current furnace regulate the overrunning
of the burner? NO, most models do NOT. Your burner will overrun every time you use your furnace, literally wasting up to 20% + of the fuel every time it runs.
15
What Is the Savings Mechanism?
The Savings Mechanism: By preventing the burner from overrunning, the burner runs ~20% less fuel while still blowing hot air, making the system ~20% more efficient and using ~20% less fuel cost. 1] In most furnaces, the burner overruns up to 20% and more. 2] FurnaceCONTROL keeps the burner from overrunning. 3] Hot and Cold spots in the home are mostly eliminated.
16
Does FurnaceFlameCONTROL™ Hurt My Furnace? Igniter? Blower?
Your furnace will last longer with lower maximum heat exchanger temperatures and less expansion and contracting from very hot to cold and back. Igniters are guaranteed for millions of heat cycles; FurnaceCONTROL does not even tax it… The blower runs more but has thousands less stressful on and off cycles; thus, it lasts longer.
17
Why is my flame orange and red and not all blue?
Imperfect burning Caused by imperfect burner design Ionize your fuel and get all blue flame up to 5%+ more BTUs heat cleaner burning, less pollution faster heat up ~5% less fuel cost used Ask about BLUEflame FuelIONIZER; a whopping 3,000 gauss of ionization
18
What is needed - Testing - NEMA rating? - UL certification? - Endorsement of the design and chemistry - Technology credibility for wide spread rapid deployment
19
tip: Install IceCOLD engineered synthetic catalyst in your air conditioner to save 20% on your air conditioning electricity cost: payback is under one year…
