You will know what makes religions different from each other.
Know some of the customs and traditions of the religions.
Know how the different religions celebrate festivals such as New year.
Realise the importance of tolerance and respect for other religions.
Be able to create a multimedia presentation.

3. Who will help you?
Your will work as a team with members of your group.
When you go home, question your parents and friends on what they understand about the different religions.
Visit your local library and ask the librarian to help you find books about religions.
Ask your computer teacher to assist you to find more information on the internet.

4. Project Tasks
After your group has been assigned a religion to research, you will be required to create a power point presentation on how that particular religion celebrates New Year.
Questions to bear in mind:
When do they celebrate the New Year?
What traditions do they follow?
What do they do?
What does the New year signify?

6. Timeframes
Your group will be given a week in which to complete your presentation.
