Mid October – Take the PSAT Spring – Take the SAT and ACT Spring – Ask teachers for letters of recommendation Continue to research colleges Spring – Attend Open Houses Spring/Summer Visit Colleges Prepare for SAT by going to

March 21st - Attend National College Fair at Buffalo Convention Center (Permission Slip Required in Advance) Visit Career/Counseling Center - Research colleges and careers March 6th - Attend College and Career Information Day (CCI Day) NCCC Permission slips to BOTH College Fair and CCI Day due to Ms. Szegda in the Career Center by February 15, 2018.

September – October Narrow down list of schools (3 – 5) Register to re-take SAT/ACT Exams Attend NOCA College Fair/Visit with College Reps in Career/Counseling Center Visit Schools/Coaches/Professors Attend Open Houses Finish college applications WATCH DEADLINES!!!!

14 How to register? Online (ACT) (SAT) You can choose to have your scores sent to four colleges at no additional charge. Many colleges will no longer take scores off the transcript, they require scores be sent directly from testing agency.
