Learn, Work, Network Learn Taught by NU/Kellogg Faculty
1.5 credits of required course work Another 1.5 to 3.0 credits of elective course work Work Work on-site 3 days a week 1 course credit for the internship Students will manage the internship process Additional support and resources will be provided by KIEI and CMC Network Meet alumni entrepreneurs and VCs, have access to cutting-edge companies, participate in local events and activities

Are You Eligible? Core classes completed
FINC 431 (FIN II) OR FINC 440 (ACF) completed If you are pursuing a VC internship, you must complete FINC 445 prior to Winter 2020 3.0 average or above Not committed to Global Exchange in Winter 2020 750 bid points will be charged Students need sufficient amount of bid points to participate

KIEI 980-0: Bay Area Internship and Networking Lab (full credit) Internship with a growth-stage startup, or Internship with a VC firm (prerequisite: FINC 445) One of the following half-credit finance courses: FINC 980-5: Cases in Venture Investing, or FINC 982-5: Advanced Topics in Venture Capital Investing (prerequisite: FINC 445)

Internship Search Student-led and CMC-supported
Students manage own search and interview process Outreach and networking skills are key Support from CMC and KIEI Program resume book sent to VCs and growth-stage companies that have expressed interest in the program CMC Library: identifying target companies, finding contacts, company research Coaches: help with networking, outreach, and interview prep CMC support on-site in SF CMC Primary contact is Brittany Wisniewski
