Identify 8 important steps that lead to a disease becoming a PANDEMIC
Create a 8 panel storyboard that includes pictures and descriptions to tell the story of how a disease spreads to become a PANDEMIC
You will NEED:
A blank sheet paper
Your notes and vocabulary about spread of disease and PANDEMICS
A pencil
Colored Pencils/Crayons (you can borrow mine)

3. Design Your Story!
Step 1: Read over your notes and vocabulary (you can also use the textbook to help you)
Step 2: Brainstorm 8 steps on how a disease can become a pandemic.
Make sure you include information about where the disease may begin and how it spreads

4. Let’s do the First One Together…
What is the FIRST thing that has to happen in order for a disease to begin?
Hint: Before a disease can spread, what has to happen? Think about the vocabulary word pathogen.

5. Design Your Story!
Step 3: In each box, draw an illustration to represent each step that must happen during the spread of a PANDEMIC
These should be appropriate, meaningful, and COLORED
Step 4: In each box, write a caption for the picture.
This caption must be AT LEAST one complete sentence
This caption must explain what is going on in the picture
