Preamble While I am grateful for the honour bestowed on me by nominating me to anchor a session in today’s workshop. This citadel of learning that has relentlessly helped to produced potential university students who are worthy in learning and character, I am also conscious of the responsibility I have accepted. Therefore I say it is tasking because there are many eminent educators here either as staff or guests which I hope to learn from during the course of our interaction, hence, we all are going to be partner in progress.

My Affiliation to the School I had known God’s Solid Foundation Group of Schools through Deacon Ojo a parent who also doubles as the Chairman, parents teachers association-PTA. The school endowed with an edifice uncommon among our private schools around. I have also had the course to be privy of several discussion of developmental efforts of the school principal, teachers and students while appraising private school education in Moniya. This quickly reminds me of the hope and confidence to be reposed in our secondary school students and the marvellous works their teachers are doing in the school. This is not a gain saying because your school is growing a stellar reputation that will be well known in this clime and beyond.

My Affiliation to the School I could continue to talk about the college for the next one hour. However, that was not the main reason I was invited here and more so that we all have consensus on the impact of 21st century teacher and his pedagogical skills on the performance of our wards. It then become imperative that if our teachers in this age are already 21st century complaints, our tasks is to keep them on track and if they are yet to be 21st century complaints we are going to re-direct them therefore, my topic is “Teacher in the 21st Century Classroom”
