2. What is Microsoft Word?
Microsoft Word 2007 is a word processor where you can type, edit, and change the look of text. It is used for multiple reasons, such as;
business letter
poster or birthday card
Calendar
Newsletter

3. Microsoft Word 2007 Definitions
Ribbon- Microsoft’s term for a series of tools and tabs.
Tab- a system in which information is filed logically (example tabs at the end of file folders)
File- A collection of information that has a name.
Document- a file created with a word processor that includes text, graphics and charts.
Filename Extension- A dot (.) followed by the filename. Microsoft Word for example is .docx and not .doc as seen in earlier versions.
