When raising a Defect on a Feature (in ConfirmConnect), the default Priority is determined from a matrix:
Defect Category (determined from the Defect Type)
Pothole
Cracks
Faded Markings
Classification (of the Feature)
Strategic Road
Cat 1
Main Distributor
Local Link Road
Cat 2L
Local Access Road
Where there is a gap, the system default Priority is used, e.g. Cat 2M.
The Officer may override the Priority (with a justification if it has come from the matrix as of v18.2).

2. Proposed Changes
The Risk Based approach allows the default Priority to be determined or adjusted automatically based on Defect Attributes.
A Priority Multiplier may be applied to Defect Attribute Values.

5. Adjusting Priority with Attributes
Either of these pushes a Cat 2H up to a Cat 1.
The combination pushes a Cat 2H up to an Emergency.
