Company Academic Awards Criteria
Gold Star to one company per regiment with the highest academic performance score based on: (# CDTs on dean’s list) + 1.5(# Distinguished CDTs) - 3(# CDTs with failing grade(s)) Silver Star to one company per regiment with the best academic support program Regimental Academic Officers assess 1LT Edds award to one company per regiment with the most improved Academic Program Score (APS) from the six week mark through the end of the term

Assessing the Winners To be eligible for all 3 company awards, companies must have the following programs in place: AE incentives program Study room that is conducive to learning Tutor program Remediation program Measures in place to safeguard ESP Academic Officer in Charge Report aligned with award criteria

“First, if the study rooms are supposed to have current WPRs, then why is there no organized system in place to ensure a sampling of last year’s WPRs are collected for next year’s cadets?” “A1 is scanning and digitizing old tests and WPRs to be posted on SharePoint.” “[B4] had the most CEP certified tutors, and provided a pass for cadets who were CRLA certified and conducted three hours of tutoring in a week.” “A1 has the \"Geek of the Week\" program in which cadets earn points for academic excellence, tutoring, etc... The cadet with the most points at the end of the week earns a $5 credit to the company fridge fund.”
