Question Answer With your Head With your Heart Do you want to get the latest iPhone? Depends on what it costs… Heck, yea! Everyone else is getting it. Should I go to a Community College or right to University? Depends on what my GPA and ACT scores are… My BFF is going to MSU so I will too. What is the better TV, a Plasma or LED? I need to see what the Consumer Reports ratings are… Well, I heard the Plasma cause brain damage. Examples of “Logical Thinking”

4 Introduction to “Flow Chart”

5 Example question we will try to answer logically:
Can I buy a car? Logical questions we will need to answer first: Do I need a car? Can I afford it? Should I buy or lease? Do I have a place to keep it?

6 We will be working on Question #2, Can I afford a car?
To create the flow chart we need to generate some Yes/No questions that will lead to the answer. Here are the two questions at we will be starting with: Do I have the Money for a Down Payment? Do I have the money to make a monthly Insurance Payment?

9 ACTIONS: Save Store completed document on the share drive to your folder under the name “Logical Thining” Discuss What differences there were between expected answer and actual answer. What other possible applications of logical thinking are there.
