SIESS 2022 CLUE KE:TTLE Led by Community Energy Scotland - 2 HIE (Community Energy Scotland/Knoydart Renewables), 1 SE (Storterra), 1 IRE. 8 Observing HIE partners (Isle of Rum Community Trust, Eigg Electric, Isle of Canna Community Development Trust, Isle of Muck Power Ltd, Hoy Energy Ltd, Rousay, Elgisay & Wyre Renewable Energy Developments, Eday Renewable Energy Maximise local renewable energy generation in a remote rural area, whilst decarbonising the local aquaculture industry through displacement of off-grid diesel generation with renewably generated electricity, enabled through innovative flow battery storage and transport of energy dense electrolyte 57 Project Applications €73 m in requested funding 24 projects selected - 3 Scottish projects selected Led by Austria - 6 AT, 4 DE, 4 SE (Strathclyde University/ORE Catapult/Smarter Grid Solutions, Bright Green Hydrogen), 7 SWE Demonstrate the tools as well as evaluate different technological flexibility options in 5 demos - e-mobility combined with contact-less automatic charging - combination of a central storage and several intelligent energy management systems -flexibility from power-to-heat, batteries and e-mobility as well as PV Led by Revolution Energy (Scotland) Ltd - 4 SE (Revolution Energy Scotland/Energy Technology Centre/Strathclyde University/Logic Energy), 2 HIE observers (CCDC- /QU Systems), 1TUR, 1 ES, 1 DK, 1 Korea, 1 UK) Development of a Digital Energy Utility Management Service (DEUMS) to provide solutions and establish routes-to-market for customers/stakeholders and businesses.
