ozone
These gases act as greenhouse gases.

3. What do they do?
These gases allow sunlight to enter the atmosphere freely.greenhouse gases absorb the radiation and trap the heat in the atmosphere

4. What is global warming?
Increasing the earth’s temperature, especially a sustained increase to cause climate change.

6. What is global change?
Environmental change that occur around the earth in response to a combination of factors.
eg: sea level rising

7. What is climate change?
Regional change in temperature and weather patterns.
Has a link with human activity specially the burning of fossil fuels.

8. What causes climate change?
Gases such as carbon dioxide and methane(known as two of the greenhouse gases) trap some of the heat from radiation into the atmosphere. The concentration of the gases increases as a result of human activity and therefore it causes the global temperature to increase and climates to change.

9. What is human activity?
Burning of coal, oil, natural gases as well as cutting down trees(deforestation) are known as human activities.these alter(change) the composition of the atmosphere and add to climate change.

10. What has human activity caused?
Increased the atmospheric concentration of a number of greenhouse gases. Such as:

11. Increasing the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere human activities are strengthening earth’s natural greenhouse effect.

12. Burning of coal,oil,natural gases!!
Every time we drive a car, use electricity from coal-fired power plants, or heat our homes with oil or natural gas we release carbon dioxide and other heat trapping gases .

13. Deforestation!!! Second most important source of greenhouse gases

Coastal development has occurred too close to the sea.

20. When these natural processes interfere with our coastlines they get exposed to storms and flooding.

I personally think that beaches are a natural resource for us for enjoyment and for a long term sustainability of the Waikato coastline I think people should be protecting them from coastal hazards rather then exposing it to coastal hazards.
